FROM THE DIRECTOR:
We are so proud to be sharing our 2015 Annual Report with you. We had a lot of highlights and wanted to take the time to show you what we have been working on.
The theme for 2016 seems to be opportunities and challenges; not only here but across
the state. We have seen the effects of our changing economy and we are adjusting our focus to
accommodate those needs. Here at the Bowman County Development Corporation we are so
proud of the communities that we serve. We are here to work with you to make this area the best
place to live, work and play. Our team is energetic and positive and we invite you to join us in
addressing our challenges and creating opportunities.
In 2016, our main focus will be on building communication and collaboration in our
community. Our office does allow time to pursue potential leads for new business but we know
that our largest asset for strengthening our community lies in the businesses we already serve.
Our office provides many services - all under one roof. If you have a question or a service you are
needing, please stop by our office and ask. If we can’t help, we can find someone that can.
As we move forward, it is important to consider where we want to be as a community.
Economic Development allows us to work towards diversifying our economy, increase our competitiveness, grow our businesses from within, meet the growing needs of our community and
focus on enhancing quality of life.
Sincerely,
Teran Doerr
OUR MISSION is to encourage and assist in the development of

within Bowman County.
