Last year, work was done around the tee box on hole twelve and in front of the crossover on hole two. Currently, we have been working on the area in front of the tee on hole three and to the left of the fairway on hole ten. This year’s work is more intensive, utilizing some heavy excavating equipment to create a series of rock structures in the river itself. The goal is to help control erosion during high and swift water incidents. Work should be complete by the end of November. Great Aerial Views of the Club Last year, we had our first drone flyover taking aerial video of the club. It was a test run for a local research company and while it was pretty neat, the video was fairly random in terms of holes covered. Now that our course renovation is complete, we have worked with StarCity Skycams to conduct a comprehensive of the Club. Unfortunately, it was scheduled for a day after significant rain and our maintenance staff was not able to get out to mow and “stripe” fairways etc. Even with this disappointment, the aerials look are beautiful and a hole-by-hole flyover has been created. Thanksgiving To-Go Orders Due to the university holiday week and the home and away nature of football games against UVA, the Club has not seen high demand when hosting a Thanksgiving meal at BCC. However, there has been great interest in "Thanksgiving To-Go" packages. If you are hosting family this year and don't want to cook, this could be the perfect option. We'll do all the cooking and you can pick up your meal Thanksgiving morning and eat it in the comfort of your own home later that day. From turkey to ham to side items and even dessert, we have it all. See page nine for more details. Fitness Room Access Fitness room usage has picked up significantly lately! Remember, there is no charge to use the fitness facility and it is certainly convenient if you live within a few miles of the Club. We do not staff this room so please make sure you read the fitness center rules and complete the liability waiver. Should you notice issues with equipment or anything else in ѡ
