From the Food and Beverage Director
Thank you to all who joined us for our Tuscan Wine Dinner last month. It was
a really fun night with an enthusiastic speaker (Adam Breske), great wines,
and way too much good food!! As I mentioned at the dinner, the wine
selections we tasted that night will be available in the restaurant while
quantities last! Look for information about our winter wine event in an
upcoming newsletter.
I also hope everyone had a great time at the Halloween festivities this year.
We had a great turnout for the Halloween Carnival, Trunk or Treat, and our
Family Halloween Buffet.
We begin our winter hours in the restaurant on November 1. We will be
closed on Mondays, and will stop seating at 8:00 p.m. on Sundays, Tuesdays,
Wednesdays and Thursdays. We will continue to be open until 9:00 p.m. on
Fridays and Saturdays. Be sure to come down to the Club to enjoy our
continued weekly specials: Tuesday night “Pastabilities”, “Wine Down
Wednesdays”, Thursday night “Burgers and Brews”, and “Homestyle Supper
Sunday”. Finish your meal any night of the week with one of Pastry Chef Jyl
Robinson’s fabulous desserts! Her freshly-made selections change weekly, so
you can always try something new and delicious! Please call to make your
reservations, or if you have any questions about menu options any given day.
The holidays are always a fun time of the year, and there will be plenty going
on at BCC. Chef Morgan will be offering kids Thanksgiving cooking classes,
and we are offering Thanksgiving Day pick-up of food orders again this year.
(See menu on page nine). We are taking reservations for Lobsterfest (Dec. 4)
with seating times available from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Finally, be sure to
sign up for the FREE member Holiday Social on December 9 and our Santa
Brunch on December 14. Information on all of these events can be found in

Holiday Club Closure
One of the challenges of being open year round is having “down
time” to take care of maintenance tasks such as painting a room,
cleaning public area carpets, overhauling kitchen equipment, etc.

BCC Clubhouse
Come to the Club and enjoy our annual FREE Holiday Party! This event will
feature heavy hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine, and fun. This is a great opportunity
to socialize with your fellow members and make some new friends!

There will be a FREE movie night in the banquet building for ages 3 and up
from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Snacks will be provided. Please let us know when
you sign up if you will have any children attending the free movie night.

For this purpose, BCC will close the clubhouse beginning Monday,
December 22 through Wednesday, December 31.
The clubhouse will reopen for normal service beginning at
10:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 1.
The monthly food minimum will not change. Those on a beginning
to end-of-month cycle will have more than three weeks to meet
their minimum while those on a mid-month cycle will have the third
week of December and the first two weeks of January to meet their
minimum.
Our golf operation will still be open (weather permitting). The staff
appreciates your understanding and thanks you in advance for
allowing us to accomplish some behind-the-scenes activities to
improve your membership experience.
Drink of the Month
Cranberry Spiced Martini
Vodka, cranberry and spice infused simple syrup, and
