BBYO offers the intangibles that school
and other extracurricular activities
don’t always provide.
Developing the confidence and character of its
participants is at the core of every BBYO experience.
This is done through a leadership approach rooted
in “experiential democracy,” offering teens the
opportunity to stand up for things they believe in,
lead initiatives and add value to a worldwide
movement of their peers.
Teens are
in Charge
As a teen-led organization, AZA and BBG
members set the agenda and ensure
that we are offering the most relevant
programming possible.
Judaism on
their Terms
BBYO programming exposes teens to a
variety of Jewish beliefs and practices,
encourages them to ask questions and
ultimately leads most to a greater sense
of pride for their Jewish heritage.
A Part of
Something
Great
In BBYO, teens can simply be themselves.
In doing so, they are welcomed into a
worldwide movement of young people
and alumni who feel a common connection
to each other and the Jewish people.
