BBYO IC 2016 INFORMATION
UPDATES OR QUESTIONS ABOUT TRAVEL PLANS?
Please visit the IC Welcome Center (outside Key Ballroom) or one of the Welcome
Center Satellite Stations to speak with a member of the Customer Service Team.
HEALTHCARE ISSUES AND CONVENTION WELLNESS TEAM
We’re fortunate to be joined by a talented wellness team. You can find them in the
Health and Wellness Center (on the second floor of the Hilton by the Key Ballroom
in Armistead) from 8 AM to 11 PM each day.
If you require medicine or medical attention, please see an IC staff member who
will contact a nurse. In the case of emergencies that require a doctor, we will
utilize the nearest hospital. If additional information, extended care or out-of-hotel
medical services are needed, a nurse or member of the IC Leadership Team will
contact your parents or guardians. For your own protection, you should carry
health insurance numbers and information with you while traveling outside the
hotel.
SPECIALTY MEALS, FOOD ALLERGIES AND GLATT KOSHER FOOD
For meals including meat, vegetarian options will be available inside the dining
room. All meals are nut free. In addition, if you identified a food allergy or
preference on your IC Registration the following meals will also be available in the
dining room: dairy free, gluten free, vegan and Glatt Kosher. All meals must be
picked up at a specific meal station in the dining room at the beginning of meals. If
you have food concerns, please see Sherrie Stalarow or the IC Welcome Center.
Please Note: The dining room cannot honor special requests.
OTHER DINING OPTIONS
To accommodate those who would like additional food, BBYO has partnered with
HomeSlyce to provide pizza, sandwich and salad service each evening. This service
is pre-paid, credit card-only, and the arrangements are explicitly between the teen
customer and the company. Vegetarian options are available, and any meat options
are not kosher. Orders must be placed through the IC App and have to be placed
by a certain time each day. Orders placed after the deadline will not be honored.
Additionally, Sam & Anita's Convention Canteen will be open in the Hilton Lobby
each day for coffee and snacks. Kosher options are available!
VALUABLES, PASSPORTS AND VISAS
The opportunity to check valuables during registration is intended to help prevent
property losses in the rooms and around the hotel.
Please Note: Under no circumstances does BBYO accept liability for items
brought to the hotel. For this reason, we ask that you do not leave your room
without locking it, even if you are just going to the ice machine.
Canadian and international delegates’ families should have a copy of their
passport for easy faxing or emailing, as a backup.
