BBYO International Convention 2015 Program Guide | Page 13
Please Note: Under no conditions does BBYO accept liability for items
brought to the hotel. For this reason, we ask that you do not leave your room
without locking it, even if you are just going to the ice machine.
General Information
Valuables, Passports and Visas
The opportunity to check valuables during registration is intended to help
prevent property losses in the rooms and around the hotel.
Canadian and international delegates’ families should have a copy of their
passport for easy faxing or e-mailing, as a backup.
Visitors Policy
There are no visiting days during IC. Please explain this to your friends
and family so there are no misunderstandings or disappointments. The
schedule is simply too packed! Under no circumstance can any person not
participating in IC come to the IC hotels.
Lost and Found
There will be a ‘Lost and Found’ box located in the IC Welcome Center. All
items will immediately be brought there. If it’s not there, your missing item
has not yet been turned in.
Name Tags and Room Keys
All participants must wear their name tags throughout the entire day for
security purposes. If you do not have your name tag around your neck, you
will be asked to go back to your room to retrieve it. Please do not switch
name tags. With more than 3,000 guests, it is important that we are able
to keep track of everyone at all times. If you misplace your room key, or if it
doesn’t work, please find a staff person during chofesh, free time, or evening
dismissal who will take you to the front desk of the hotel you are staying in to
replace the key.
Need Assistance?
Staff will be wearing light blue vests throughout IC. Volunteers will be
wearing red vests. Members of the IC Hospitality Team will be wearing gold
shirts. Please connect with any of these adults should you need assistance.
You can always receive assistance by going to the
IC Welcome Center.
