BBSS InfoPack 1 | Page 2

The Brunei-Birmingham Students Society (BBSS) is one of the affiliated societies under the Brunei Student's Union (BSU) in the United Kingdom. The society represents students from Brunei Darussalam who are pursuing their education at any academic levels. The objectives of the society are aligned with those of BSU.

Contrary to other majority affiliated societies under BSU, BBSS is an independent student organisation which does not enrol itself under specific universities’ students’ union. The reason being is the students from Brunei Darussalam are comprised from several prestigious universities across and around Birmingham such as, but not limited to:

University of Birmingham

Aston University

University College Birmingham

Birmingham City University

University of Wolverhampton

To maintain a stable foundation initiated by the forebears of the society, Executive Committee Members will be elected annually. The diversity of unique student backgrounds under BBSS invites various opportunities for students to network and essentially, relish the moments in the United Kingdom as an international student in Birmingham.
