QFEST returns for its second year running on the 16th & 17th June 2018 to Higher Humber Farm, Bishopsteignton home of Red Rock Brewery this June to kick start the Summer BBQ season, promising to indulge any foodie with smoke, meat, beer & music.
Eighteen teams from around the UK & Europe will be fighting head to head in a two day battle cooking to impress the judges from around the world. Teams will cook the Ultimate Burger, Pizza, Higher Humber Farm Breast of Lamb, Steak & Chilli on Saturday. On the Sunday the main Kansas City Barbecue Society rounds of Chicken, Pork, Ribs & Brisket. QFEST rounds are qualifiers for the World Food Championships and last year saw a team travel to Las Vegas to compete in the World Championship Chilli Round.
QFEST was created by Channel 4’s BBQ Buddies Ben & Dan alongside life long friend and local farmer Joe Lang. Ben & Dan are known around the world for their promotion of BBQ and speak to the world’s best BBQ chefs and brands every week and post online for everyone to listen to on the UnitedQ Podcast.
QFEST is not just about the competition though as well as getting involved and helping to judge the chilli round visitors will be able to buy authentic BBQ food, compete in eating competitions, speak to local suppliers & chefs, watch and get involved in cookery demos and of course chillout with a drink while listening to live music.

Q: Can I be a judge at QFEST?
