It's looking to be a pretty epic year on the UK BBQ scene circuit, with competitions and events galore, and more popping up all the time at the moment.
It's great to see such a range of competitions for all experience levels, from your first time competing at a BBQ competition, to high end competitions for experienced teams with entry into competitions in the States, with large prize pots so there is more than just bragging rights at stake.
If you fancy dipping your toes into the world of competition BBQ, you will be gauranteed to make lots of new friends and have a whole load of fun, and get to try some wonderful BBQ.
You can either start off by entering one of the events for newer teams, or tag along with one of the established teams, and offer to help and learn. Teams are great at encouraging new people, so get involved!
