Red-Letter Dates
Certain dates on the calendar hold special
significance for BBG. Chapters and regions are
encouraged to hold programs incorporating
these themes.
November – Senior Appreciation Month / Chapters
and regions honor the activity of their oldest members,
thanking them for their leadership and participation.
November – AZA and BBG Global Shabbat / This
ritual is an opportunity to share the holiness of Shabbat
with our brothers and sisters. The tradition dates back
to and is considered among the most sacred in the
Order.
March – Advisor Appreciation Month / Chapters
and regions honor the work and dedication of their
advisors, who have volunteered their time and commitment for the betterment of the organization.
April – BBG Founders’ Day / April nd marks
Founders’ Day. This was the date the B’nai B’rith Girls
convened for the very first time. Chapters, councils and
regions throw birthday parties or hold Friends and
Alumni Network () programs to celebrate our history.
