Board of Directors
’s transition to independence in from B’nai
B’rith International was made possible by the leadership and generosity of Lynn Schusterman and the Charles
and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation. At that
time, Lynn became the first chair of ’s Board of
Directors, the governing body of the newly independent
not-for-profit organization incorporated in Washington,
DC. Lynn recruited her friends, alumni and other stakeholders to support the organization financially and join
its fledgling board. As Lynn made her case, participation in the board grew to include some of the Jewish
community’s most influential philanthropists, corporate
leaders and professionals. Many are alumni, parents and advisors who are joined by the Grand Aleph
Godol and International N’siah to ensure that the Board
is representative of all stakeholder groups. Together
the Board of Directors serves as the organization’s
highest governance body, ensuring ’s vitality and
direction.
