Fontana Garden
The garden celebrates Cornwall , and Cornish gardens with Kim taking inspiration from sponsor Derek ’ s own garden ; Fontana and Cornwall ’ s Great Gardens . It reflects the diversity of planting opportunities within Cornwall .
Visitors will journey through the garden , seeing and enjoying it from different areas and experience various rooms , views , and features .
The focal point of the garden is the tree top room which creates a viewing platform into the garden and the landscape beyond - a room outside to enjoy the garden in all seasons .
Upon completion of the show , Kim has designed the garden so that it can be gifted to Cornwall Hospice Care in a revised design . It will provide an amazing resource for patients , their families , and staff at a very difficult time . 91 years young , it is Derek ’ s life long ambition to be a part of a Show Garden
