There ’ s lots of fun to be had for all the family at the Show . Don ’ t miss your chance to vote on your favourite school wheelbarrow ! Created by schools local to the West Midlands , explore the Commonwealth Countries in a Barrow on picnic hill by the Beautiful Borders , all drawing inspiration from the local flora and fauna , garden styles , national heritage and culture of the Commonwealth Countries . There ’ s plenty more fun for the family , with chickens to pet and a chance to get creative making your own music with the outdoor musical instruments provided by Acoustic Arts . Plus , use a flower press and turmeric to create your own photographs ! You ’ ll be able to learn about the history of photography and experience some unique plant themed camera obscuras .
Plant Crèche
Feeling a little weighed down by all the plants you ’ ve purchased at the Show ? Drop them off at our handy Plant Crèche located to the rear of the Floral Marquee whilst you browse the rest of the Show , or perhaps buy more plants ! The Car Collective Service in the Plant Crèche makes shopping for plants even more convenient as we ’ ll deliver your purchases to your car .
Live Entertainment
Soak up the atmosphere and spirit of summer with wonderful live entertainment at the bandstand . The Polka Dots Trio will get your toes tapping in no time with their retro classics , plus be serenaded by the Best of Bublé . If that ’ s not enough , you can also enjoy the delights of the Bluefish Dancers as they take to the floor at the Paso Doble Café and be transported to the tropics as you wander through the Show thanks to the Pantasy Steel Band .
