Harmony and balance . Two feelings Lexus ’ garden concept is designed to evoke for visitors as they enter their garden at BBC Gardeners ’ World Live this year . Inspired by Japanese Kanshō-niwa gardens , their garden concept will be a place of contemplation and peacefulness .
The Lexus garden concept is a garden for the spirit , designed to be toured mentally with the eye rather than physically . Carefully arranged , you will be able to take a moment to relax , reflect and refocus the mind as you sit in a central oasis within the contemplation garden space .
The feature will take influence from the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku , meaning forest bathing , encouraging the benefits of reconnecting with and immersing in nature and will also feature a Ryokan style garden house . The space positions the first all-electric Lexus car ( the Lexus UX300e ) amongst a refreshing green environment and the All New NX Plug-in Hybrid ( the Lexus NX450h +) in a traditional Japanese setting , both encouraging a more sustainable future .
