Peter Seabrook Tribute - Pebble Mill
This feature was personally designed by Peter Seabrook , who passed away earlier this year . This display pays homage to Seabrook and his long-running association with BBC Gardeners ’ World Live and to the Pebble Mill at One show , which was filmed in Birmingham and hosted by Peter from 1975 until 1986 .

To celebrate the BBC ’ s 100th anniversary , this year the House of Plants is inspired by Top of the Pops ! and will nod to the 70 ’ s era , trying to recreate the Boho / Retro designs of the time and showcasing a range of House plants used in the same era .

The Floral Marquee Pot Swap !
This year we are giving visitors the opportunity to swap the black plastic pots purchased at the show for a sustainable Posipot option .
The Posipot is a fully compostable , recycled / recyclable UK made swap pot that allows gardeners to take purchased plants home ‘ plastic free ’. Their aim is to disrupt plastic use in horticulture and challenge the idea that it ’ s fine to use plastic to transport plants from shop to garden , it makes more sense that less better-quality pots are made as a tool for growing rather than the 100 ’ s of millions of plastic pots being incinerated or sent abroad as part of the waste chain . After the show all collected pots will be reused or adequately recycled .
