Celebrating 100 years of the BBC

This year marks the BBCs 100th year and , to celebrate , a host of displays in the Floral Marquee will be inspired by popular BBC programmes , from The Archers to Only Fools and Horses . The Pebble Mill inspired display , was personally designed by Peter Seabrook who passed away earlier this year . Look out for Alex Froggatt ’ s design inspired by Peaky Blinders , and Jon Wheatley ’ s garden homage to Only Fools and Horses .
The Hideout designed by Alexandra Froggatt and inspired by Peaky Blinders
Don ’ t miss this moody and industrial garden inspired by the BBC period gang drama , Peaky Blinders , with antique artefacts used from the Black Country Living Museum to give an authentic feel . A worn cobble path leads up to the shack and wild , naturalistic planting is evocative of self-seeded planting around a working yard . A horse drawn ‘ getaway ’ cart is set on dirty , coal covered ground … and the table is set for a hard earned Whiskey !
