The 28th Annual Fall Harvesters Fashion Show Goes Virtual Raising Over $ 1.5 Million

The Harvesters 28th Annual Fashion Show was a virtual presentation taped in the lobby of the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall . The show , produced and sponsored by South Coast Plaza , featured fall-winter collections from Chloé , Isabel Marant , Lanvin , Marni , Max Mara , Moncler , Oscar de la Renta , Salvatore Ferragamo and Versace .
The presentation began with a video introduction from event co-chairs Gail Haft and Nathalie Hymel , as well as Second Harvest CEO Harald Herrmann and Chief Mission Officer Claudia Keller . The presentation was viewed by 300 supporters October 7 and included an online auction of deluxe travel packages and luxury merchandise donated by South Coast Plaza retailers . Alexander McQueen was a sponsor of the popular annual event .
A special thank you to South Coast Plaza restaurants that supplied gift cards to the donor SCP totes : Knife Pleat , Din Tai Fung , VACA , The Hall Global Eatery , Water Grill , Hamamori , TERRACE by Mix Mix and Quattro Caffé . 100 % of all underwriter dollars were donated to Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County . The organization ’ s resources are in high demand due to the pandemic , unemployment and unprecedented levels of food insecurity .
