THE NEWPORT BEACH WINE & SPIRITS FESTIVAL OVER MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND
ANNUAL WINE FESTIVAL RETURNS WITH MORE TO OFFER AFTER A TWO-YEAR HIATUS BY FRANCINE SLOSSER
After a two-year hiatus , Balboa Bay Resort is proud to kick off the summer season with the Newport Beach Wine & Spirits Festival over Memorial Day Weekend , May 27-29 , 2022 . Formerly known as the Annual Newport Beach Wine Festival , this year ’ s event will feature an array of wineries and distributors representing over 50 labels . Sip and mingle while enjoying live music , tasty bites , and breathtaking views along the waterline .
“ We ’ re thrilled to put on this event at Balboa Bay Resort and enhance the experience with more offerings and entertainment ,” said Jason Hsieh , Food & Beverage Director at Balboa Bay Resort .
The festival begins Friday , May 27 at 6 PM with a DAOU Vineyards reception and dinner represented by the DAOU brand ambassador team . This iconic Paso Robles winery known for its powerful Bordeaux varieties . An expertly curated 5-course dinner will accompany the tasting , courtesy of Balboa Bay Resort ’ s Executive Chef Prabeen Prathapan . This intimate dinner and reception will take place in the resort ’ s beloved Lighthouse Room , that offers tranquil ocean breezes and sweeping harbor views .
