In 2006, Yvonne and her mother moved to Los Angeles. Since then, she has appeared in several independent and feature films. Most notably the feature film Still the Drums. Also commercials for the 2008 Olympic games, Verizon, guitar player Ultimate Band for Wii Video, Pass the Milk, Disney, Sony and others.
She has been doing print work since the age of five, and has appeared in many advertisements and magazines, as well as posters. She has also participated in theater since moving to Los Angeles, doing performances at the Alex Theater, as well as shows at the Downtown Theater in Chinatown, and others.
Yvonne has been awarded by the Chinese government for Bridging the Gap between China and America. She is also in recognition as Goodwill Ambassador of the World Hall of Fame network, she has also been awarded A Star by USA-Sina news.
