Born and raised in a suburb of Montréal, Québec. Francine was brought up with French and Québécois cuisine. Like many of that time, her mother was a stay at home parent and home cooked food was prepared daily. Although Francine helped out in the kitchen, her involvement was limited due to a bad burn that occurred when she was just a toddler. Her curiosity kept her coming back for more and watched
her parents cook until she was brave enough to start cooking on her own. As far as her friends can remember, Francine has always been in business. Her first enterprise was a high-end clothing store located in Hull, Québec. She was selling well known designer clothes such as Mondi, Marcella Priani, Hilary Radley, Lejaby, just to name a few. She also personally designed gala/gown dresses for her selected clientele.
