come from piano lessons. Chris said to
him “What did you learn, what are you
working on?”, and so Noah went over and
played “Yesterday”. As soon as Chris heard
him play he said “That has to go on the
record”. We went in the studio and he had
practiced, and I tell you what, I couldn’t
have been more proud. He went in there
and nailed it. I think it was the first take.
Wow, he sounds great. How old is he by
the way?
He’s 13.
How long has he been playing?
He’s been playing for about 6 or 7 years.
Let me see, he started when he was about
five. Boy, the years go by quicker than
I can keep up. I discovered that he had
perfect pitch when he was about five. You
can literally bang out any chord and he’ll
tell you every note in the chord.
The tune “Madiba“ is one of my fav
