good to seek someone who has
various treatment methods at
their disposal, so if something
doesn’t work it can be changed
to something that does, rather
than doing the same thing over
and over that is not working.
Also, bring your instrument to
the practitioner’s office and insist
on showing them how you play
and what is bothering you, as the
practitioner is likely to have no
idea what you go through to make
your music, but can observe and
make comments on your playing
to help avoid these problems.
If they don’t want to do this,
whether for lack of interest, skill,
or time, find someone else to see.
Remember, they work for you, and
are being paid for their time.
Hope this helps to clear some
things up. As always, happy
playing, and be excellent to each
other.
Best,
Dr. Randy Kertz
