up again to the bar that they
themselves have set so high. The
Gipsy Kings have returned to the
music scene with the virtues of their
experience and enormous talent,
with a great understanding of their
genre and really have done an
outstanding job. This is a journey
into familiar musical territory, but
without this being some rehashing
of their previous “greatest hits”. The
songs are creatively new without
sacrificing any of the tradition that
goes with this kind of music.
Listening to this CD really
reached into my Latin roots and
stirred my identity. This music is
part of who I am and it’s beauty
makes me proud and happy that
they are sharing this with the world.
