EVINRUDE DEBUTS NEW MIDRANGE E-TEC G2s

he Bass Federation sponsor Evinrude makes the latest in high-performance power
plants available to bass fans with midsized fishing platforms with the introduction of a
lineup of 150- to 200-hp E-TEC G2 engines.
Building on the success of the 200-hp High Output (H.O.) to 300-hp models launched in
2014, the company developed the new E-TEC G2 150, 150 H.O., 175 and 200 engines.
Evinrude’s revolutionary two-stroke G2 series is the result of five years of intense research
and development following a mandate from parent company Bombardier Recreational
Products, and offers serious bass anglers a host of benefits, including 75 percent fewer emis-
sions, 15 percent better fuel economy and up to 30 percent more torque than leading four-
stroke motors.
