He’s not an advocate for one knot
or another, but he does have advice
for when choosing a knot.
“I think what knot you tie the best
is what you should use,” he says. “If
you can tie it in a tournament when
the wind is blowing or your hands
are cold or you’re nervous, that’s
when you know you can tie a knot.”
