I f you ’ ve ever wanted a “ fisheye ” view of what the pros are throwing , it ’ ll be pretty hard to beat this in-the-kisser closeup glimpse of a Berkley J-Walker wielded by MLF pro Adrian Avena at the Tackle Warehouse Pro Circuit event on Lake Murray . The “ Jersey Boy ” was working his way around Murray , flinging the classic topwater for the lake ’ s herring-hungry bass , when he buzzed by MLF photographer Rob Matsuura . Avena ’ s chrome J-Walker proved to be the goods , too : He finished fourth in the event , cashing a big check and climbing into the Top 10 in the Angler of the Year standings .
