over flooded trees in 40 to 80 feet of
water. he used the countdown tech-
nique to work a 3/4-ounce spinner-
bait and a 10-inch worm across the
treetops. When day four’s windy
weather made it tough to present his
baits properly, Suggs switched to tar-
geting brush piles with the big worm.
he also caught a few keepers by flip-
ping milfoil in 16 feet.
