focused on brush in 23 to 27 feet.
The key was finding brush with
schools of large shad blown into the
cover, and he didn’t burn time on
those lacking the forage. martin
caught most of his fish on a Fish
head Spin with a soft-plastic jerkbait
body and a Texas-rigged 10-inch rib-
bon-tail worm. he also added keep-
ers with a swimbait on a 7/16-ounce
head and a drop-shot with a
roboworm in the morning dawn or
watermelon candy colors.
