Winning pattern: no one was sur-
prised when Knight caught a solid
day-one limit in a creek ditch in the
back of big blakely creek, but three
days later, when the Tennessee pro
won the tournament without ever
leaving his 250-yard stretch, he
raised a few eyebrows. Knight caught
his first limit by targeting channel
swings with a buzzbait. Then Knight
switched to a drop-shot and plucked
three limits off logs, brush and root
wads on the flats adjacent to the
channel.
