’ve been fishing in florida for saltwater and fresh-
water fish from a kayak for the last few years. in
that time, i’ve developed some simple strategies
that make me more efficient and capable when on
the water. some of these strategies counter the
inherent challenges of controlling a small, light-
weight craft, while others simply improve my fishing
