no-entry-fee tournament circuit for eligible anglers who are full-time
college students in an FlW-affiliated college or university fishing club.

NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP qUALIFICATION
There are two routes to qualify to the 2018 FLW College Fishing National
Championship during the 2017 season.
1. The top 10 teams advance from each qualifier. One additional team
advances for every 10 teams beyond 100 competing in an event.
2. The top 20 teams at the FLW College Fishing Open. One additional
team advances for every 10 teams beyond 200 competing.

though FlW doesn’t currently hold the record for the largest colle-
giate bass fishing event in history, we’re working on taking back that title
at the third annual FlW College Fishing open on kentucky lake in April.
the first two opens attracted fields of 194 (2015) and 203 (2016)
teams. the latter was a record at the time.
