Instead of four issues per year, you’ll get six, at no extra cost to you. Each will include the same great how-to content, columns from the best writers in the bass fishing game and cover- age of major tournaments, but the scope of content will expand to include MLF-branded events and the 80 anglers competing on the Bass Pro Tour. TRANSLATION: You’re getting more great content in 2020. “During the 2020 season, FLW will host more tournaments than ever in the organization’s history, and will distribute more fishing content through live streams and television than ever before,” says Kathy Fennel, executive vice president and general manager of FLW. “But that’s only the beginning. By joining together, MLF and FLW can pursue an aggressive growth strategy to expand the fan base and recruit more anglers into the sport. We’ll do it through what is already the biggest media footprint in the industry, but also by working with our partners to expand our tournament circuits and the poten- tial winnings at every level. “MLF is an angler-driven organi- zation, and FLW’s path forward mir- rors that approach,” adds Fennel. “That’s part of why I’m so excited to start this new chapter together. We have so many wonderful, loyal anglers and members that have stuck with FLW over the years, and I’m so thankful for all of them. Now, with MLF at our side, we have a chance to pay forward the support we’ve always received with more opportunities than ever for our anglers and fans.” “During the 2020 season, FLW will host more tour- naments than ever in the orga- nization’s history, and will distrib- ute more fishing content through live streams and television than ever before.” Kathy Fennel 58 FLWFISHING.COM I WINTER 2020
