2016 BEST LINE: P-LINE TACTICAL FLUOROCARBON
P-Line took home top honors in the line category at the ICAST New Product Showcase for
its new Tactical Fluorocarbon, a fishing line created to offer optimal castability, invisibility, soft-
ness and sensitivity without sacrificing strength and durability.
“This line is super smooth and super limp, so it comes off your spool a lot faster and a lot
easier with a lot less memory,” says FLW Tour pro and P-Line pro-staffer Scott Canterbury. “It
has a little more stretch than other fluorocarbons, and that helps if you’re cranking and you’re
worried about breaking off when you make a long cast.”
Canterbury says the line is also great for spinning rods. Because of its limp nature it doesn’t
twist or suffer as much memory as other fluorocarbons. It’s available in 200-yard spools of 6-
