As part of the agreement, T-H Marine will become the title sponsor of FLW’s most popular tourna- ment circuit, the Bass Fishing League. Based in Alabama, T-H Marine manufac- tures boating and fishing equipment, tools and accessories. “T-H Marine is very happy that we are renewing and growing our sponsor- ship of FLW,” says T-H Marine CEO Jeff Huntley. “FLW anglers cover the entire spectrum, from recreational weekend fishermen to elite professionals. We are very proud to be plugged into the foundation of bass fishing as the new title sponsor of the T-H Marine Bass Fishing League.” FLW CANADA, FLW CHINA WRAP UP 2016 SEASON t he first full season of FLW’s International Division competition wrapped up in early fall, in time to qualify the International Division representatives to the Costa FLW Series Championship in November. By press time, results had come in for FLW Canada and FLW China. The Canadian circuit actually produced its 2016 FLW Series Championship qualifiers at a championship event held in 2015. Its recent 2016 champions will compete in the 2017 FLW Series Championship on Kentucky Lake. 14 Held on Big Rideau Lake near Rideau Ferry, Ontario, Sept. 16-18, the FLW Canadian Championship was won by teen anglers Cooper Gallant and Danny McGarry (above) by a margin of less than a pound. According to an FLWFishing.com web story filed by Limitfish Media, Gallant and McGarry spent a week camping in a truck as they prepared for and competed in the tournament. The sacrifice paid off, as the young guns uncovered the winning pattern of using their electronics to fish vertically for smallmouths over 40 feet of water.
