STATS KEY

AOY Points Percentage ( max possible : 1,400 ) – Percentage of total possible AOY points available that were earned by each angler . Top-10 Percentage – Percentage of the time the pro made the top-10 cut . Top-20 Percentage – Percentage of the time the pro made the top-20 cut . Check Percentage – Percentage of time the pro earned a check . Qualifying Round Improvement – Average change in position within the standings from day one to day two . Interpretation : Most pros don ’ t make the top-20 cut to fish the weekend , so they really make their living in two days of competition . A positive number might suggest that the pro is a slow starter , or that he ’ s skilled at interpreting fish on the fly during tournament hours and adjusting from day to day . A negative number could mean the pro struggles with adjusting to changing conditions , or that he swings for the fences and occasionally misses . A low number near zero indicates consistency but doesn ’ t necessarily mean the angler is consistently good . Historical Average AOY Finish Differential ( current average : 20.57 ) – Number of places separating each angler ’ s average tournament finish from the historical average tournament finish among AOY winners . Interpretation : In some cases anglers who don ’ t contend for AOY in a given season might have contended in a different season . Missed Fish Opportunities – Number of additional fish that the pro could have weighed in during tournament competition , had the pro weighed a limit at every opportunity . Possible Fish Percentage – Percentage of fish that a pro weighed in out of the total number of fish that the pro could have weighed in .
