TBF RENEWS CONTRACT WITH PURSUIT CHANNEL T he Bass Federation and the Pursuit Channel are teaming up again in 2019 to roll out 26 weeks of Federation Angler TV programming covering grassroots Federation events. The show airs weekly (four broadcasts per week) from January through June, start- ing on Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET, and anchors the Ranger Boats/Bass Pro Shops/Cabela’s fishing block. Notable events included this year are the 2018 TBF National Championship, the ninth-annual High School Fishing World Finals and High School Fishing National Championship, the 2018 TBF Junior World Championship pre- sented by FLW, and the 2018 Minnesota High School State Championship. Additional airtimes are Tuesday at 11 p.m. ET, Friday at 7 a.m. ET and Saturday at 8 a.m. ET. Check out the entire Federation Angler TV schedule under the media link at bassfeder- ation.com. TBF is also looking for future Federation Angler TV stars, includ- ing youth or high school clubs to feature in youth-oriented episodes, and adult club/Federation projects to feature. Chad Champy (left) and Kyler McKie won the 2018 High School Fishing National Championship on Pickwick Lake. 2020 AND 2021 WORLD FINALS, CHAMPIONSHIP LOCATIONS I n 2018, 392 teams attended the ninth-annual TBF/FLW Student Angler Federation High School Fishing World Finals and National Championship at Pickwick Lake. The 2019 World Finals and National Championship will return to Pickwick Lake and Wilson Lake. If it’s anything like last year’s event, there’ll be throngs of industry vendors, sponsors, fam- ilies and local spectators packed into McFarland Park for daily weigh-ins. In 2020, the dual event will head north to the Mississippi River at La Crosse, Wis., and then in 2021 it’ll visit Lake Hartwell on the border of South Carolina and Georgia.
