TALE OF 2 DAMS

For the past ten years I have participated in a day long Spring Spoonplugging Seminar. I usually help write a presentation or two and run the computers. This year I helped write a presentation called "Interpretation is Our Greatest Teacher". It covered a number of interesting topics like "Water Goes in a Straight Line until it ís Obstructed" and "Where Would You Fish?"

We try to keep things interesting by having audience participation with all level of skill Spoonpluggers and we particularly like to find unusual situations that most of the crowd haven't really seen before and then ask and answer questions so the audience need to use the Spoonplugging Guidelines to get the right answers. This was the most interesting part of the talk.

We ask the audience:

You have 1 day to fish in an area you've never been in so you pull out your trusty road map and see this map.

While the names and location of the reservoirs isnít important, the names are Hodenpyle Dam Pond and Tippy Dam Pond. They are located in Central Michigan.

Now the road map doesn't show any contours, just outlines. But there are some VERY important clues based on just what you see in ABOVE IMAGE. Answer these questions based on this map:
