So thank you Stephen Kolenic for sharing this with our readers.

What you will need:

- Small Plastic Latch Container

- Stanley Knife or the kitchen alternative, Steak Knife (Be careful not to cut yourself)

Take your plastic storage container and using the knife of choice, cut out a slot on either side of the plastic storage container. Now rig up your crankbait and place it in the container and close the container around the blank of your rod. Make sure you don’t place the

container too high up on the rod as you could damage or break the rod. Try and secure the container at least half way down the blank.

So for a mere R25/container, a kitchen knife and maybe 15min of your time, you can create your own crankbait cover and tame the beast.
