There are so many different types of lines available to the angler nowadays including braid, fluorocarbon, monofilament and nanofil, so it all comes down to personal preference. Be sure to check your line regularly to ensure that it is not frayed. When spooling your reels, take into consideration how you are going to fish with the specific reel and this should influence your line choice. Change your line at least once every season. Lastly, when buying fishing line, try and buy in bulk as this will save you money in the long run.
