Introduction

The Baseball Victoria Baseball For All Game Day Coaches Manual
provides baseball community members without experience, the
fundamentals needed to effectively run positive baseball experiences
through the range of baseball programs in Victoria. Through this newly
established program we will bridge the gap between those with baseball
experience and those without. Raising all coaches up to a satisfactory
level of experience and qualification.
Coaching Principles

Use coaching principles to provide players equal opportunity throughout the game
and season.
In all teams there will be varying skill levels and ability; at this point it is unacceptable
to continually play the better players in key positions. It is essential that all players
receive equal opportunity and are encouraged to participate fully in all aspects of the
game.
Competitive games are fun, but winning is not the main concern.
Promote good sportsmanship, stay enthusiastic and reward effort rather than
success.
No Negative comments about the umpires.
Always leave the participants feeling great about their experience.
