One day I woke up in the morning with the sunshine falling on my eyes. It was my special day , the day
of my final soccer game. We had finished the last game off at 10 to 6 winning by 4 goals. It was a hard
battle, but we as a team worked very hard to achieve the playoffs with a record of 13-1 win in the season.
We had breezed throgh the state playoffs winning the first game 3-1, the second 5-2, and the third game
7-1
Well today was the Championship game and we were playing against the team Shamrocks, the only team
we lost to, in this season. I played well that game but I knew I would have to play my best for us to win
the title.
I woke up, got dressed and went to the FC Dallas stadium to play. When I got there the referee said the
game would start in 5 minutes. We got ready. I was the center position, Simon and Kiefer were the wings,
Adi was the defender, and Elliot was the goalie. We got into our positions and waited for the referee to
start the game. As he blew the whistle, we all attacked immediately. We played in our positions so that we
would not get offside. Once Kiefer got the ball, he passed it to me. I in turn passed it to Simon. Simon
kicked the b all and passed it to Elliot. By then all the Shamrocks attacked Elliot to take the ball away
from him, but Elliot shot a long kick over the Shamrocks to pass it to me. All eyes were on me. I ran up
close to the goal post and kicked it straight into the net. Goal!!!! I had scored the first goal of the game!
We all got back to our positions. The game started again. After a lot of passes, at one point I had the ball,
but the center of the Shamrocks stole the ball away from me and ran towards our goal post. I quickly
gathered up myself and ran up to save the Shamrock player from scoring a goal. I tried to tackle the ball
away from him, but I accidently kicked him on the leg insted of the ball. It was a free kick given to the
Shamrocks. They got ready for their kick and made a long shot aiming the our goal, but Elliot was quick
enough to catch it on time. Then Elliot passed it to me and I dodged the ball through many opponents
until I had the 2 defenders and the goalie in front of me. I tried to dodge them but slipped and fell and so
did the 2 defenders. Before anybody reacted, I got up ran towards the ball and started running towards the
goal and kicked to the left, and it was another goal!!!
During the rest of the game we battled back and forth but none of the teams got the ball in the net. We
continued to play like this till the game was over. When the referee blew the final whistle we had won the
game! We went over to the stand to get our medals. Finally the chief guest handed me the trophy because
I was the key player who helped the team to be the winnert. The team had a tittle party to celebrate their
first big win for the tittle.
