victors), the other male reaped from her district, but people see this as something else. People begin to rebel against the Capitol, and President Snow decides he needs to do something about this: eliminate Katniss Everdeen.

Every twenty-five years a Hunger Games with a twist takes place, which is different from all the rest. This time it’s the seventy-fifth Hunger Games and what is happening is unpredictable. All of the living victors from past games are reaped and placed in an extraordinary Quarter Quell. Peacekeepers, the Capitol soldiers, are placed under orders to take close watch on Katniss’ family and friends. Katniss and Peeta are placed in the games to compete against experienced killers, make allies, and face the obstacles the Capitol wants them to overcome. How can Katniss and Peeta survive this time?

The Catching Fire movie is a phenomenal film that greatly relates to the book. Every second throughout the course of this film I was hooked, which easily makes this movie entertaining for all to view. I would easily give this movie five out of five stars for the stunning plot, actors, and filming. If you enjoy action, adventure, and romance, watch Catching Fire!

Catching Fire

By: Fallon Link

Recently, I have seen The Hunger Games: Catching Fire in theaters. The Hunger Games is an event in which a male and a female between the age of twelve and eighteen are reaped from each of the twelve districts at random. The twenty-four contestants chosen to go into this event must compete to the death in an arena; the one victor, or winner, of the Hunger Games is able to have certain privileges over other people. The Capitol are the people who rule over all the districts. Noone has ever rebelled against the Capitol (except district thirteen, who now is supposevly non-existent) until now. This is because of Katniss Everdeen, who last year won The Hunger Games along with Peeta Mellark (which is strictly not allowed to have two victors), the other male reaped from her district, but people see this as something else. People begin to rebel against the Capitol, and President Snow, the president of the Capitol, decides he needs to do something about this: eliminate Katniss Everdeen.
