When he's not writing articles and conducting interviews for DIY and GoldFlakePaint in the UK, Kris is making music as Real Swell. With two albums under his belt, the lo-fi Londoner seems to have found a staple sound. It's a concoction of new-wave synths, unsteady in tone, dancing along a hum of tape reel with acoustic guitar anxiously added into the mix.
