What makes here the touristic area?
I live near La Rambla, every day when I go out, it’s the place I can’t avoid. I’ve always wondered why people came here. What makes it so different from other large streets? I did some photo research of La Rambla, the pictures show that there are a lot of street artists such as street performers, drawing or hand crafting artists; also there are a lot of restaurants, flower shops, candy shops, and ice cream stores. Maybe these are why people come here, or maybe it’s the other way around. The most interesting thing I found is if you see the city from higher ground, la Rambla could be almost the only area with a whole line of big dense trees. Maybe because we still are drawn to nature.
