Birat: I came here from Nepal a year ago to go to UNO to study Jazz. I've been playing since I was a child but it's only been a couple of years since I started taking the guitar seriously. I don't really know how we work the energy but I guess I'd just credit it to good chemistry. I'm from Nepal which is a third world country. I didn't have a lot of resources but I wouldn't really call it rough. I've had to face two major devastating earthquakes back home though which was nightmarish. Music has helped me find myself amongst a lot of chaos. Odelia Gair: I sang my first solo in church at 5 years old and I have been infactuated with making harmony ever since. I grew up in uptown New Orleans, the 3rd ward to be exact. Growing up in New Orleans was not tough...not as tough as the murder of my eldest sister by her husband. This situation took a lot out of me creatively, until my husband insisted that I use my voice to sooth the souls of others. Music literally helps me share life with others. BRANDMII.ORG
