My family and friends are a vital aspect of my life bcause I feel like those are the best kinds of relations. Wherever I am, I make it my mission to impact the people that I come across. I want them to remember me and not have to put me into a box. I am the girl that colours beyond the outlines set in any picture book I come across, and I don’t have to apologize for it. “You’re the girl that colours beyond the outlines,” seemingly, you’re somewhat a daredevil, do you agree? I would agree. When I write my poems I don’t hold back; I write the truth as it is. Raw and authentic. I just think if a poem does not speak out then it’s just there for you but not the world. For me, that’s not how it should be. As artists, we should be able to evolve beyond our boundaries. As we push our boundaries, we also use our art to push those of people around us. Playing the daredevil route keeps your audience on their toes. They never know what to expect! When I get on stage, I have to own the stage. My audience knows that too! And I will have their undivided attention because I am about the “we” and make people question some aspects of life. | BANZA 22
