why
do I have eye bags
and dark circles
Simply put, periorbital dark circles,
commonly known as dark circles, are
a result of the very thin layer of skin
below your eyes visibly exposing
the blood vessels and the blood they
contain.

The common cause of eye bags and
dark circles is the retention of water
due to high salt concentration in the
area under your eyes.
After a salty dinner or crying, you
might wake up with the eye bags.
The salt draws water to your face and
thus, the dark circles.
Aging, allergies, lack of sleep and
stress are other common causes of
dark circles.
