After defrosting the meat, cook it slightly in the sauce or salsa. Add the salt and all spices at this point. Take out of heat. Place the meat mixture in a bowl. If it is too wet drain the liquid out. Pour in the cubed Cheddar. Mix with a wooden spoon. Add in to the meat mixture the peppers and tomato and continue mixing. Add in the black pepper to the mixture and mix for the flavours to settle. Once the meat mixture is done, butter the baking tray and cut out the dinner rolls or crescent rolls into triangles of not more than 6 cm. Arrange the triangles in such a way that they form a star with a small circle I the centre left open. They can overlap each other. Carefully place on the crescent triangles the meat mixture to form a fence around the inner small circle. It should look like layered burger. Add the Mozzarella cheese on the top of the meat later. Fold in the triangles to get to the centre of the small circle, but they do not have to cover up till the bottom. Preheat the oven to 375°F or 190°C. Once the triangles have all covered the layers for meat and cheese, bake in an oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
