Learning on the job Junior Vets gives ordinary school kids the chance to try their hand at becoming vets. In each episode, young recruits are split into pairs and sent out to help with real vet work. They could be tendingto animals at a vet school, on farms, in zoos or at animal hospitals. Some cadets are anxious around
|
animals; others are terrified of blood and gore, while a few are simply determined to get as much handson animal experience as possible!
The adult vets take a back seat and allow our junior vets to fly solo as much as possible. They face constant decisions and dilemmas and will have to show real co-ordination and teamwork to come through each day.
