Seven very different children attend a nature campsite in the‘ middle of nowhere’, which centres on the group of campers called‘ The Acorns’. Arnold, Jonathan, Hassan, Famke, Suus, Marietje and Frans all have their own way of disguising their problems, but here at the nature campsite everyone goes, literally and figuratively, back to basics. Under the leadership of the spiritual camp leaders Ben and Ben, the Acorns come closer to each other, to nature, and to themselves.
